I love it too. I had never known it before I came here. They grow it in masses here....it is a bit of a council plant...but that doesn't put me off. When the sun light hits it....magic! But it's taken me until last winter to plant one here, and it is very small....but in time.....

It does seem to be. It's none the worse for being 'pruned' by the tractor, either! lol.
They plant them in carparks here too, Karen. Then they chop them down into horrible shapes. YUK!

We have a small forest, well, not a forest, just rather a lot of trees in a small garden, far more than we should have really!! must do a blog one day about them.....
