it looks a lot like my 'Heaven Scent' Mick...which was a birthday present when we moved here 7 years ago. It's not as wide as yours yet, but it's a beautiful goblet shaped tree. I love Magnolias!

I (see Mavis) planted this one 30 odd years ago .My Mum (bless er) counted the blooms the first year and there was 21,,,now there is that many on one branch

Brilliant! I remember counting them the first year too...but can't remember the number! In those days ( when you planted yours) magnolias were not commonly grown!
