Cinders Acer - Orange Dream

Beautiful ... I'm just about to put my little Acer in a decent pot for the next year at least ... hope it grows as well as yours ... :o)

I only bought it last year Shirley, and taking it in and out every day at the moment because of the cold winds. I will look out for a nice pot too.

All done, Cinders ... found the right size pot for it and have put it next to a dark plum coloured Acer near the garden fence in an East facing border ... fingers crossed it will like living there for the Spring/Summer ... hope you find a lovely pot for yours ... :o) I went out earlier to remove yet more Muscari and also removed about a dozen Dandelions from the lawn ... grr!

Well done Shirley. I won't be going anywhere to get a pot for a week or two, going to be away from Saturday for a few days, and so much to do in the garden before I go. I know what you mean about the Muscari ! Once you've got them its difficult to get rid.

I am also battling with Bluebells ... :o(

Bluebells and Forget me Knots are my "bane" at the moment, am having to dig them out to plant new plants....Grrrr

Gralew - Forget-me-nots are so easy to pull up and make great compost too ... can't say the same for Bluebells though ... :(

Good luck with the bluebells, I waged war on them a few years ago and they're still coming up. I'm sure some are about three feet down:-( I love your orange dream Cinders, it's a fantastic colour, mine which is in a north border, has come through a couple of awful winters with no harm :-)

Thanks Ba. Expect yours is a little bigger than mine isnt it. I know they don't like the cold winds so have been cosseting it this year.
