Rhubarb I picked for the church coffee morning last Saturday.

very good! i picked mine yesterday and made a rhubarb crumble;-)

I am just making an apple/rhubarb pie today Homebird.My DH loves it.

i only make crumble with rhubarb, like you say the pastry goes soggy but there must be a way round it because in morrisons they do a lovely rhubarb pie made with pastry!

I have to admit I usually cook rhubarb with crumble, or a pastry top. I haven't had any this year yet. I'd better get cracking!

I've only picked one lot so far I must pick more I like to freeze it in segments then make the crumbles as and when I want them in the winter , I like ginger in mine ...
