Thanks Summerbreeze.the smaller bowl is really a bulb bowl.It was one we found when clearing Julie's mum and dad's place a couple of years ago so it's nice to make use of it!
And still loads of plants,Karen (Dahlias ,Lillies etc etc ) in pots waiting to be planted in borders!!!! I may have to be ruthless and dig out parts of plants that have spread(ie Campanulas, Alchemellia Mollis, Cranesbill geraniums, Heliopsis...all of which spread like wildfire)
