Crataegus laevigata 'Crimson Cloud'

beautiful red.
Ishuld have a crataegus in my yard.

I have young crataegus laevigata 'Paul's scarlet' which has solid red flowers...just a few flowers this year. I like this one as well. The flowers are more interesting.

I do love these flowers, such a pretty colour.

This is beautiful, our Paul's Scarlet is flowering now...

I chose this instead of 'Paul' - I preferred it, sorry Dd. It's been in for several years and it's quite a large tree now. :-))

Don't apologise they are both lovely trees, we have three planted as a feature, and they are being trained by OH in to a tulip shape.

It's going to be in full bloom for tomorrow - that's new, it's usually finished by now.

I was lucky this year - it's normally finished before we open the garden, but it was in full bloom and much admired. I love it! :-)
