Amy, I would love to have a more dense planting of them perhaps with another bulb that I wouldn't have to lift in autumn? what would you think of ground phlox? (it's blooming now too.) (I know phlox is not a bulb..lol...but looking at my first bed...and there it was!)

That sounds like a good idea Lori it will make a good cover and look pretty to , do you have Periwinkle there it's evergreen and makes a good ground cover therefore less work for you ...
