The second of my seed grown Iochroma is now in bloom.

Thanks! Got a few deformed blooms on this one too, but I think that it needs potting up/planting out.

unheard of here! no greenhouse though! but because of all the shade the trees make i doubt it would ever get that hot

I know! i thought it was supposed to be sunny! so i left home at 5.30 with only a cardigan ~ because they promised it would be 20 and sunny! then someone came and said it was raining! left work about 11.30, still cloudy, called into local town and half an hour later its 20 degrees with blue sky!
