Thank you Bloomer, they left the nest 10 days ago and went straight to the garden, they could hardly fly. I did not think they would survive the night as the weather was so bad and there are plenty of the dreaded magpies around. I got some food in the pet shop for them, they are so tame that I can nearly feed them from my hand. When they here me, they arrive in the garden, one of the Robbins seem to look after two of them feeding them and the other one looks after the other one, I don't know how long they keep feeding them as they are hungry little buggers.

How lovely,Johnjoe..you have some friends for life there..we have the dreaded Magpies as well..but I guess they have to look after their own too...just a shame they prey on the other little birds..I hate hearing the distress calls of the Blackbirds..knowing the local cat is on it's rounds,or other predators..such a struggle for survival...

Isn't he lovely? The only baby birds at the bird table here so far are starlings and what a row they make lol. I'm waiting for the baby sparrows, all fluffed up and mouths agape and of course my special blackbirds:-))
