We have had two successful broods of Mandarin ducklings hatch out this weekend! We think one has 12 and the other 11 but the chicks are so quick it is a job to count them. The first brood stayed a day and then Mum led them across our lane into the woods but the second family are happily feeding at the feeding bowl and look quite comfortable so hopefully they may stay in our garden ! We think we may still have another batch of eggs to hatch, will keep you posted .
