After all that flower investigation, my furry companion noticed this little thing flitting around within reach and snuck in around the back side of the new bush. A few more seconds and there was a flick and the butterfly was sent on its way. :-)

She doesn't come in all August. Its like she smells the cool in the air, and takes every minute outside. I suppose I would too, given her little world.

She loves it here. Lots of space and nothing close, its all hers. I have never caught her so brazen, she just grabbed with a claw and flicked it away back into the tree canopy, somewhere I discovered these swallowtails seem to hang out.
