This is one of my top plants for attracting bees to the garden. Cirsium rivulare Atropurpureum. About 7' tall, architectural foliage and topped with tons of these thistle like flowers. Very Hardy herbaceous perennial.

thanks Jane! Irn Bru is a Scottish soft carbonated drink. Hard to describe....very orange and tastes a bit like Tizer from my childhood memories I think. But it is quite popular up here with Voddie...especially in Glasgow! The slogan they use to market it is 'Made Fae Girders' :)))) You have to say it with a very scottish accent to get the full effect! ;)

This goes to the top of my "wanted" list. I love tall plants, and bee attractors are essential!
