Much later, in fact lots of plants are much later, still lots of colour to come in the garden, which would have normally been and gone by now, looking quite colourful though this week.

My roses are starting now, so it is much more colourful at last! I would hate to be without them...they are the 'sweeties' in my garden...little lights of bright colour all over. Last year it was so bad I almost dug them all out. Instead I hard pruned and fed them....it seems to have paid off, though there is still blackspot on quite a few. :( I think it is somethingI'll have to live with on the older vars, but DA roses are generally very resistant to disease, which is fantastic!
