Thanks Drc, as they were opening I was thinking I didn't like the colour, a bit greenish yellowish, but once they opened fully they were rather beautiful. I love their shape too:-)

How unusual, and what perfect specimens! Never had one of these BA, lovely. But please don't use as my cup when I come...I dont want to lug a change of clothes!!

I didn't know that Motinot. Many years ago, my favourite local garden centre was run by a family, they had a wonderful range, not like you see in garden centres now. Their house bordered the GC and one day I looked through the hedge into their garden and was transfixed by the sight of the beautiful golden globe flowers bordering their large pond:-))

Now look here Tet, when are you coming? I'll have to run out and buy some real crockery just for you:-))
