This has been in about 3 years and is slow growing but does seem to be doing well this year, I had it from Gardeners World Live but it didnt have a label on and the man I bought it off said it was the wedding cake shrub but I dont think its Cornus controversa as the leaves appear smaller on this one what do you think?

Looks very healthy, Daylily. We call "alternifolia" the Pagoda Dogwood and "controversa" the wedding cake tree ....but... have seen many nurseries around referring to alternifolia as a wedding cake tree. I think that they have a similar appearance. They are such a neat specimens.
