Mine gets done in every year, too...it only takes around four French escargot to skeletonise the whole thing!

I wish the slugs would eat this one....save me trying to dig it up lol

It's a pain isn't it - leave a wee bit and it comes back! Right up there with Japanese Anenomes for that.
