I have never been able to grow the gold ones. Bought 5 over the years and they all came to nothing! Orange/red no problem..go figure!

Slugs? They love heleniums, especially the young growth

Almost certainly Andrew, but all orange/red ones made it, but the gold ones never have. Probly less vigorous than the red/orange.
