My Dahlias-Red Pygmy

Gorgeous colour.

They look darker in the photo, in the sun they are a lot brighter red. Have to grow them up here because otherwise the slugs and snails have a feast!!!

This year I thought because we have had a long dry spell the S&S would be fewer but they don't seem to worry about the weather. They do tend to be less obvious when it is dry. I went round the garden when the rain stopped today and found loads of them. They won't be snacking in my garden again.
