Spot on, are your dahlia's doing any better this season?
I lost a lot of them when i dug them up and stored a few years ago and lost my interest. They are so nice that i had to buy them again and now i leave them in soil (last 2 years) and they come up !

I lost dozens Nbhatt during the Winter a few years ago and i've been lifting them since and growing quite a few in pots...I allow the pots to dry out in Autumn and store them that way...I havent lost any for 2 years.....:>)

I might try this when I buy new tubers. Do you let the tubers dry with soil and re-pot next season in new soil ?
I like dinner plate varieties do you know any British website with good range of varieties(I bought mine from a Dutch website) ?
