I've been a bit dissapointed with this plant, as it always seems thin and straggly. On the plus side, it is growing on clay soil with intense competition from an epimedium

I agree with you Vincent. Good for setting off bright yellow flowers maybe, but too pale to stand out in their own right

I used to have this and the form 'Illuminator', but I was never fond of either. I always thought the flowers were a bit wishy washy.
