Should be Colchicum Speciosum Album looks like the Bees visited after a collection from a lilac one.

Interesting. I didn't know the bees were responsible for the streaking and tinting. It make sense now.

OK so this year I planted pure white tulips that are surrounded with Purple Prince tulip (stunning violet blue). So the following year I may get white tulips with purple stripes/streaks/tinting?

No you might get seed which would in turn produce bulbs that may be striped they would normally be large enough to flower in about six years. all the Bees do is pollinate
Not any different to humans if black and white breed the colour would be mixed but it won't change the colour of the parents.
