I adopted this tree from neighbour next door it came through from there side so I kept it and I have taken cuttings so now there will be more I just love it it appeared naturally in garden and so it shall stay!

I think it is a downy willow or grey willow def. some kind of native willow.

You are like me Anci, I adopt everything what appears unexpectedly in my garden as well.
Is goats willow what we call pussy willow Snoopdog? Are they a problem?

it does get small catkins on, it why will I regret having it Snoopdog? yes Klahanie I even keep those beautifull flowering weeds when they appear I just keep an eye on them!

Hi Snoopdog this is next doors tree!! the only one in the area,not seen any other in any neighbours gardens,I have been pruning it top and bottom and trying to maintain a round shape I dont let it grow tall only arm height so should be ok I just love it ,The Twins!!!!!
