Zinnia Border

Behind my gazanias at the top of the banks, I planted a border of lobelia and zinnia. The late spring and hot summer left so many annuals full grown and gorgeous at the greenhouse and I couldn't pass these bright zinnias up. With our short season, if they aren't blooming at purchase, you may never see a bloom. So they were perfect. A few more years of annuals and I'll have built up a good bed soil along here, then I think Diablo ninebark or siberian dogwoods.
