Thank you. I'm pleased you like them. I've been collecting them since 1965 ...

Wow, you must have quite a collection. They just don't do well for me here in New York even if I keep them inside.

What a shame you're not able to grow them. They are fascinating plants.
Yes I have many, and some of the older ones are quite big now.

The problem for me comes usually when the seasons change. I would like to see more of yours especially when in bloom.

There are many on my photo pages. You missed them because I uploaded them in the summer, before you joined up ... but you are welcome to look through them.
Click on my avatar, then click where it sais 'Photos' ... if you scroll back, there are many pages of flowering cacti !

I did read your profile (sorry about your cat, I can relate). I will be sure to look through your gallery. Thanks

Tank you. My cat Blodyn (Welsh for flower) was like a soul mate, and I still miss her very much.

That has happened to me twice already. I would soon go down to the animal shelter and adopt (rescue) a kitten that was about to be euthanized. They always give back a life of gratitude.

You never get used to it. Blodyn was only 6 yrs old and died very suddenly from a blood clot.
The cat I had before her was 22 yrs old but it was no easier.
I'm glad to hear you adopted a rescue kitten. It's a shame when they get put down.

Hywel, I posted a pic of "Costello" to my gallery. He's the handsome black cat who thinks he knows everything.

My first ever succulent! Makes lots of babies too.

This has made none at all in the years I've had it. How do you get it to do that ?
26 Nov, 2013
Boogered if I know Hywel! It took three years to flower though! It is outdoors from April to October'ish, so maybe that is something to do with it?
Looking at you photo, my pot is a tad larger (but not much).

Mine is in a covered area outside during the summer, so maybe next year :o)
