Riverside Park

It could be a scene from one of our parks,B.gate..:o)

I'd love to walk along there :o) There are plenty of seats for me to sit on every now and then - very thoughtful of whoever put them there :o)

Thanks Bloomer and Hywel. It's a nice place to go to get away from the hussel and bussel. I love to ride my bike along this path or sometimes eat lunch.

Before the park existed, Edgar Allan Poe liked to sit on rocky "Mount Tom" at 83rd Street. i like poetry and there fore found your image of Riverside Park interesting to see because of its connection with the poet poe. loose connection....is this part of the park near to "Mount Tom"??

Is it the Hudson or the Potomac ? Or neither .
It looks like a busy promenade .

Janeplant: I enjoy Edgar Allen Poe as well. I read a few of his work including "The Cask of Amontillado." His house is not too far away. His house was converted to a museum and you can go in for a tour. It's preserved exactly how he left it too. Check out this link. I think you'll like it. I never heard of Mt. Hi Driad: This Park looks out on the Hudson River. The Potomac is further south near Virgina and Washington, D.C. I will post a few more pics
