Hi Katarina - I love this plant and your photo is nice - great color. Cosmos are annual so you'll have to plant new seeds for next year. The good thing about that is you can try new colors. Sometimes they will reseed themselves if not disturbed or if your feathered friends leave a few to grow.

If the weather is dry , Katarina , see if the seed-heads are hard , if so harvest them .
They are beautiful flowers and will go until the first hard frost .

Does somebody know - is Cosmos perennial or do I have to seed new one in the spring?
