Crassula ovata

Looking very healthy,Hywel..I noticed yesterday,mine has a few flower buds appearing :o)

That's good. How do you get it to flower ? I've never seen flowers on mine.

Pure neglect I think,Hywel..it is my theory that it flowers when stressed..and I don't look after it much..it's just there ! It lives in a Conservatory all year round..only to be stood outside in warmer weather..and its so cold in Winter..like now!

I'll have to give mine some neglect then lol :o)

I must admit,I should treat it a bit better than I do..I meant to repot it this summer,but the poor thing never got done..and I only remember to feed it once in a while..but it looks very healthy,so I guess it doesn't mind,or is past caring ! :o)I treat all my other plants much better..!

I suppose they live in harsh environments, so you're treating it the correct way. I must stop mollycoddling mine lol .... but someone gave it to me, from their mother's house, after she went into a nursing home ...and I think I'm afraid of loosing it incase they get offended.
It's been in a covered area outside during the summer, but it's going to spend the winter in the bathroom with many of it's friends :o)
