That columnar form of the deciduous tree is of Prunus 'Amanogawa' in my neighbours garden.

It is very peaceful here. But I don't have to do the shower thing to know what you mean - have been living in busy cities as well. This is my Escape to the Country, lol.
Klahanie - I should say 16:26 instead. lol. I am an early bird - but even at 7 in the morning it is still dark here...

Oh Kasy, I should learn how to read. Sorry about my comment.

I don't actually live in the city, but about 20 miles east on Long Island. I only work in the city and have to take the rail road each day.

oh, Klahanie - no need to apologies - I would say that's one of many differences between Canadian/American English and British English? lol. Can you imagine how hard it was for me when I was learning English across the ocean and then came to live in UK? took me a while to adjust, lol. And I am learning all the time...
Paul - Lond Island looks like nice place to live. How long does it take you to travel every day?

That is pretty! With what function did you make it? When I use night function with canon, pics are even worse then when I leave automatic zoom.

About 40 minutes if I take express train.

Thank you Katarina - my favourite setting is "P" - sometimes I go for "M" but only if I have time to experiment with settings.
40 minutes is not bad Paul - but I am assuming you don't take the express train every day ;-)

Only for work

:) still not bad. I remember it was taking me almost 2 hours to get from home in East London to work in West London... it was by bus/tube/walk. Sometimes it took me 3-4 hours when I was stuck in traffic... Never again (please, please, please...) lol.

That sounds horrendous. I just walk two blocks to the railroad, it burns up the rails and drops me off right in front of my building. Less than an hour from central Long Island.

I know it sounds terrible. Later I got the van I was using to commute but sometimes it was my colleague who needed it. And it was just me - I had to have a job in gardening. the only one available at this time was located in West London.

Nice and peaceful looking. If you go to the bathroom and turn on the shower full force, you'll get an idea of what my day looks like... :)
