A fantastic bargain. Is it the outdoor one or is it a house plant?

I didn't know there was an outdoor one SG....it would be great in a tropical themed area.

CK my daughter has a Trachycarpus fortunei (Chusan palm) I did a blog on it showing it flowering in NE Somerset on 27.7.10. The female one has bluish dates which are not really edible. It is supposed to be hardy to -18deg. I also showed her spectacularly flowering cordyline which is in the same border.

these are outdoor ones
. I've grown these successfully before. I plant them in large flowerpots and feed with bonemeal once a year
They are half hardy and do fine in my south facing garden in central Scotland :-)) with a wee bit of protection if temps go to -degrees in winter
