Hacquetia epipactis - 2014

Small woodland plant, no more than a couple of inches tall, for bright shade in a moist soil. May eventually form a clump a foot across.

We bought this many many moons ago at a nursery in Wales, it moved with us to the south, but we eventually lost it, must get it back, there is a lovely variegated one as well? or have I imagined that?

DD - yes, there is a variegated one (which I have as well), but it always seems to come up a bit later than the green one. They are very small plants, and easily lost or swamped. I have made a note to myself to reduce some ajuga which is rapidly approaching it, as can be seen in the photo

The Ajuga loves the rain, ours has gone mad, at least it is easy to pull up....
