DD - I think this is another one where drainage is critical. I'm wondering if it is not long-lived in any case, as it might be flowering itself to death - it's flowered all winter so far, and shows no sign of stopping. It's OK with me unless we get a really bad winter, then I lose it (although it has been known to come back again from the base).

Thanks, will keep my eye on it, it is in a good loam, free draining soil and full sun...
