Stachyurus 'Magpie' (close-up) - 2014

Shrub for good soil in sun or part shade, reaching five to six feet. This is a variegated form, and a weak plant when young (a newer variety 'Joy Forever' is more robust).
I've had it for eleven years now, and it's growing and flowering lustily.
