CK-its easy to get if you try the alpine nurseries,along with many other plants that look rare/difficult but are really not.Try Pottertons or Edroms websites for starters.

Pcw, thank you! I am waiting until I get my greenhouse before deciding whether to go down the alpine route next. I have a little rockery that needs a big refurb, but I might grow some pretty little things in there next year. Trouble is, the soil in it is very heavy...but I can easily dig in a lot of grit.

What a beautiful plant! I've never heard of it before, obviously a bit of a specialist plant, but it's lovely. I love the form of the flowers, they have 'movement' about their shape. :))
