New for the garden, evergreen fragrant crimson star shaped pink flowers.....fairly slow growing....

I just googled it and see it is a relative of the Loquat. I also found out that it is hardy in zones 7-11, and comes originally from south China.

Right, we have a Loquat, it is about a foot tall, a gift from a friends garden, but not doing well.....
Have planted the Indian Hawthorn in a fairly sheltered position, can but wait and see.....
