Doing embarrassingly well, and will need reducing soon.

DD - this is in the foliage garden. There is wonderful soil in this part of the garden, it was just impoverished when I took it over. This ajuga was planted less than two years ago.

A free reign until it is threatening to overwhelm something else. In this case, it's heading towards a pseudowintera, a rare New Zealand shrub, so I'll be keeping a careful eye on it.

I did not know the Pseudowintera was rare, we grow it here, perhaps your is a different variety.
