She was beautiful. And very hard working. In her restaurant, which she had before WWII, there were regular clients count Eszterhazy (never paid :-)), opera singers, priests. She was a very good cook :-) And very kind. Nobody embraced me so many times in my life, as she did.

I do. I am still missing her, although she died 20 years ago.
Yesterday we had such strange experience. My brother, who lives in the US, called to my parents by Skype. My parents saw his room, TV was on, his dogs were playing in the room, but there was nobody. They called brother, but there was nobody in the room. So mother dialled brotherĀ“s cellular phone and he picked up, while driving to the mall. He was not home at that time, when Skype "called". Dogs couldn t do that, as it is not just to press one button to initialize that. Such things very often happen around 1st May. Maybe gradmother :-)

You might be right, HB. Your comment reminds me one moment in life. My grandmother was the first from the family, who opened the letter my brother sent from the camp for emigrees in Austria. She burst in tears and told me with broken voice: we would never see him again, he would never return back. She used to blame my parents that they didn t try enough to call him back :-(
