No idea which but always later than some of the others, not quite as pretty as last year as I pruned it fairly hard to allow a Rhoddie underneath to see the daylight.

I am but paying the price tonight, back is killing, just off to bed to rest have had to take tablets, can hardly walk, muscular, think I did it a week or so back and gardening is making it worse. Rest for a couple of days and I think it will be ok again. :O(

I have never managed to drink whisky, well when I was younger I did drink it but only mixed with orange I could not face it any other way. lol. the smell puts me off now, think I can remember overdoing it one night at a hockey dinner, got rather plastered on the darned stuff and have never touched it since. lol. glass of wine does enough for me these days.

Ah - a "scunner"! (Aversion to something - often after an unfortunate experience!)

lol :O) certainly had a bad headache Melchi :O(

Yes! she was scunnered Melchi! I remember you drinking Whiskey and Orange Mum! I only drink it when I have a cold, or at Christmas time. Neat, no ice. Proper Scottish I am now. Although most Scots take their whiskey with water, which seems a terrible thing to me! lol! I'm not fond of the very smoky peaty ones, I like the sweet ones. It's amazing the differences in them all.

I dislike the smoky one s too, although OH loves them, I like mine with ice, but, then I am English lol the French are great whiskey drinkers!!
Now then, enough of the drink.....a splendid view Olive.

lol what are you lot like! Whisky and water, whisky and lemonade, whisky and ice, think I have tried them all years ago, still a no no for me. It even makes me squirm when I see Paul and Phil drink it. Phil likes his with ice, Paul likes his with bubbles. lol.

Lol Melchi...you'll be telling me that it's ok for a Scotsman to wear boxers under his kilt next! ;)
9 May, 2014
lol :O)
10 May, 2014
Yes K I still have not got over seeing what the Scots do not wear under their kilts at the last Burns Night .......
10 May, 2014
My son quite often wears a kilt. He says it can be very uncomfortable unless worn in the traditional manner!
10 May, 2014
lol! My OH never wears a kilt, and so I can honestly say that I have never seen what a Scotsman wears under his kilt...and I don't think I want to either!
10 May, 2014
Best not go there, Karen...
11 May, 2014
:) ...and I'm DEFINITELY not going there either!! Lol!
11 May, 2014
Very glad to hear it!
11 May, 2014
Believe me you do not want to, I had to have a very stiff (wrong word to use methinks!!) drink, after the aforementioned lifting of the said garment.......
