LOL I don't feed this at all or do anything to it. I just planted it and left it alone.

Perhaps that's the best way! :o) I'm sure your soil must be at least slightly acid ~ as this is what Rhoddis really enjoy!

You are probably right. It may have something to do the the brick chimney. Honestly all I do is spray it with the garden hose during dry spells. It's on the west side of my house. The evening sun is ideal for it. I just thought of the Starling bird nest right above the bush. They must give a generous supply of acid too.
