Yes Lori, they're not pickled straightaway tho' but preserved in salt for a while. You have to then wash the salt away with wine vinegar - never water - and then store in wine vinegar. You can of course cheat and buy them already pickled ....

We love to eat capers in different sauces. I've never seen the flower before, how pretty it is :)
