Pseudopanax ferox - 2014

I though it was about time I posted a photo of this weird plant. Eventually it will grow into a small tree about 15 feet tall, but until then, it has this juvenile form to protect it from wildlife in its native New Zealand.

I have been looking to buy one of these for about 5 years, but, O H hates it!! and it is not the kind of plant you can sneak in, was hoping he might change his mind one day!!
