one of the loudest sounds in the garden :-)
apparently the sound can cut through the noise of traffic, pretty amazing! been watching nature programs :-)

They still have their eyes shut, but their mouths wide open, and are silent.

I have been lucky to have them nest in my garden for years, fascinating little birds. When they fly the nest and call for mum you will Know about it Siris :o))

:-) they do this cute little wiggle just before they let rip too (the fledglings) :-)

Wrens and robins have nested before in my garden, but not in such an inconvenient place. I have to squeeze past the Clematis to the compost heap. Trying to go down the side as little as possible.
