Hi there, been foraging today, managed to fine The Red Arrows flying over Fairford, however came across these and have no idea what they are! Help required please?

They look like Euonymus berries Pita. In the autumn they are red and bright pink....quite a sight!

Thank you again, you are very knowledgeable! All these trees / shrubs grow in a meadow field. I was looking to see how the sloes were doing as I think I'm going to attempt sloe gin this year! Have a supa day! X

Thanks Pit, sloes, lucky you! We don't get them much here, and I love sloe Gin!

Now there's an offer! ;) My friend just down the road goes to Cumbria every now and then to visit her OH Mum, and when she goes in the autumn she brings sloes back and makes it and gives me a wee bottle! :)) Ah, what a blessing friends are! lol!
