thanks Melchi, some of my roses have done really well others have been ravaged by the dreaded blackspot. The ramblers seem to not be troubled by the spot as much as the bush/climbers.

Fingers crossed for mine...
The Queen Elizabeths that were squashed by the neighbour's fence early in the year responded very well to their forced severe cut-back. I think I'll be giving them a heavy prune each year - they usually flower at about 7 feet, but this time they look much better.

Thanks Dd this morning I spotted a pale pink flower on there think it has a shoot or two which are having an identity crisis. lol :O)
