Look what was in my raised bed tonight

Hi Kath, it's years since I saw a lizard round our way, we seem to get more newts than lizards, (it must be all the rain we get ) :-), Derek.

Someone has said it's a newt but I don't know and there is no ponds near by.

I don't know, but if thought newts had thicker tails than this. Fantastic! I love lizards!

We thought it may be a Lizard Karen but no idea how it got into the garden.

Hi Kath, just enlarged the photo, looks like it has 5 toes, which makes it a lizard, (newts only have 4), Derek.

I've never seen a lizard in Scotland, but they do get quite far north of here. I believe I remember bulbaholic saying that he has seen them in his garden.

a pet gecko on the lamm....?
