Cestrum parqui - 2014

Although this is a shrub, treat it like a perennial and cut it back to ground level in the spring. It will still make six feet of growth in a season (and the same across, so allow plenty of room). For sun or part shade in well-drained soil. Probably not hardy enough for colder areas.

Olive - that's the first flower to open on it this year. It goes on for weeks and weeks.

I really like it Andrew think it might just cope with our temperatures on the east side of the country as we are sheltered from the east winds by the wood. Think I might just try and find this on line. :O) thanks for the information on it - it really is a beautiful shrub.
