Simply the best Ajuga for midnight-dark foliage, rich blue blooms, and great adaptability to varying soils and moisture levels, 'Black Scallop' is a stunning groundcover for the garden floor or container.

I think this may be like mine,Paul..it's the only plant that spreads nicely around a tiny space between path and a stone circle..how it survives beats me :o).

This is one of those hassle free plants - my favorite kind. It doesn't ask for much and nothing bothers it. I love the rich layered effect of the leaves and the rich blue bloom spikes in the spring.
