It came through last winter, as did all my other Dahlias! :-)) I was under the impression that it was one of the 'Bishops' but I had it ID'd and it isn't. My memory again...

No it is not a Bishop series, we grow quite a few of them, so you left them in the ground then?
I have been looking at the Happy single series, might buy some for next year from the Dahlia socy.

Yes, apart from the ones I had in containers, which are in pots. 'Roxy', 'Braveheart' and 'Pooh' as well as this one, all stayed in the ground, and I think it must be 'David Howard' that's on its way to flowering, too. :-)

We lost Roxy and David Howard. during storage one bad winter, we usually buy 3 different ones every year from the National Dahlia Collection they are now taking orders for next year, they have so many to chose from, they come as plugs, which OH grows on and they usually flower that season.

I usually buy tubers, but didn't this year. I had several in pots which seemed to have survived, and have! :-))
