I don't grow the big ones any more for that reason, Dd. I have three now, if you count the one I haven't planted yet, and they're all dwarf ones. :-)

When you say dwarf, just how dwarf? because I might just manage a small one!!

This one grows to about 4', and my new one, 'Henrique' should only be up to 3', as is 'Mary Hope'. I don't know if the L. olbia ones are smaller than the x clementii, but it seems so. I found a good Lavatera site on the net - worth looking at. :-)
