I wonder if you sent me one of these. I had no label on it and did pose a question about its id. It has really strange seed pods. Macplants sent me an email today suggesting the name and I was able to confirm it from there. I am surprised it is not grown more widely as it is a beautiful plant. This is its first flowering for me and I think it is gorgeous.

Mine is still growing in the pot. I think it has been potted on several times, now in a 2lt. pot. The info I have collected from the internet seems to suggest it produces very few viable seeds but as shown in the photos in my question the seed pods are just under quarter of an inch in diameter along their entire length of about 1". I have covered them with a paper bag in the hope of catching them so that I can try and propagate a few more plants. I was concerned before I confirmed its id that the seed pods might burst and scatter and then grow like weeds. I will ensure a decent label is on it now. It will be interesting to hear if Phil eventually planted his plants in to the garden.

Mine are still in their pots.I haven't got the ideal place to plant them out. They did flower well this year.
Yours may have come from me,I can't remember.

I may have it written down somewhere. I will let you know if I find out. Out of interest do you get viable seed on your plants. The clump of basal leaves may be big enough to split. I might try that and keep a bit in a pot and put the other piece in the woodland setting I am trying to plant up.

No,I've not had any.
A woodland would be ideal,I think.
