No - it's mostly Victorian and Edwardian. I live in Southport, in north west England. It's a seaside resort which grew up in the 19th century. The angels are definitely not baroque! I still like them,though.

I like 19th century architecture. We have some Neo-Gothic castles here, too. It is nice, clear symmetry.

Yes. There are lots of large red brick Edwardian houses here. I have come to like them, they are typical of their time - solid roomy and with stained glass panels in the windows.

Yes, I know a lot of them in London, when I used to travel there in nineties.

Yes, there are. A lot of the larger houses here have been pulled down and replaced with rather soulless blocks of flats. A shame, but I suppose they are too large for people to keep up these days.
